Habitat for Humanity for Detroit and Blender Consulting Group have combined forces to offer a unique and powerful team building experience. This customized, experiential activity provides a real-world environment where team member efforts are required to complete a shared goal and there is a tangible result for their efforts. Team members accomplish more in one day than what could take a year or more with other traditional training processes.

Habitat for Humanity Detroit has been helping revitalize Detroit neighborhoods since 1986. They build affordable, energy-efficient housing for those who are deserving of these needed services. Participant’s rally around a common cause, utilize collaborative activities and accomplish a specific construction phase with guided assistance on a Habitat-Detroit house under construction.

Blender Consulting Group is a consulting firm dedicated to the success of its clients. Work is designed to improve the overall performance of an organization, effectiveness of teams, and strengthen individual abilities to lead and manage in our dynamic world. Dennis Blender, Ph.D. will facilitate the team building components of the day.

Through the construction process, the team will examine communication patterns, problem solving and decision-making methods. Lessons learned throughout the day will transfer to your organization in order to propel performance and maximize team results.
